Since its creation Ferraz Shawmut Thermal Management has constantly developed new, technically innovating products to meet the market's demands. We remain steadily focused on our customers and their needs.
Ferraz Shawmut Thermal Management has long experience and a solid reputation in two main activities :

- Water cooling
- Phase change cooling : the heat pipe

On the strength of that experience, over the course of the years we have developed air cooling systems with high performances and also cooling unit options to present a full basket of heat exchangers today, whether heat sinks, heat pipes, cold plates, or cooling units.

All our products are manufactured at a single industrial facility and meet tough criteria for performances, innovation and quality. We want to be more than a supplier for our customers, we want to offer them unequalled expertise in cooling and industrial skills to ensure that their solutions are optimal for their needs.

Water cooling makes use of two skills, vacuum brazing and machining aluminum

Thanks to the combination of those two sets of skills and our expertise in thermal management, Ferraz Shawmut Thermal Management now has the fullest and most efficient water cooling range on the market.

We can also offer you optimized global solutions combining the cooling unit and the cold plate.

Historically Ferraz Shawmut has always made phase-change systems commonly called Heat pipes

Today, Ferraz Shawmut Thermal Management has taken a leadership position on the European traction and industrial markets, manufacturing thousands of products every year. Tow workshops are devoted to this activity and enjoy modern production resources meeting all prevailing quality, safety and environmental standards: a continuous furnace to braze copper in a controlled environment, an automatic heat pipe filling stand, a helium test bench for leaktightness tests, etc.

Finally, since January 2003 Ferraz Shawmut Thermal Management has been able to complement those ranges of thermal products with a high performance heat sink.
To do that Ferraz Shawmut Thermal Management is the first company in Europe to propose a patented heat sink technology using swaging.

In Europe this is a totally innovative solution that offers among the highest performances on the air cooling market, pushing back the thermal limits on those products. Ferraz Shawmut is perfectly cognizant of electronics engineers' reluctance to use water in their systems.
